DC Girls in STEAM Day is a one-day experience designed to introduce high school young women in the District of Columbia to opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).

Through interactive activities, engaging conversations, and exposure to women working across STEAM fields, participants gain insight into potential college and career pathways. The program is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage young women—particularly young Black women—to explore their interests and see themselves represented in STEAM careers.

DC Girls in STEAM Day reflects a commitment to expanding opportunities, strengthening leadership, and supporting the next generation of innovators and changemakers.
